12v Split charge relay system supplied with a Durite 0-727-33 12v 140amp voltage sense relay & 110amp 16mm² cable  suitable to install into most older Campervans, Motor homes, 4x4s, Day Vans, Mobile workshops, Cars and Boats.

This type of system is NOT suitable for modern vehicles fitted with a smart alternators which will require a battery to battery charger

Simply install the two fuse holders and the Voltage sense relay using the fixings supplied. Then simply connect all the cable or pre crimped leads, following the very easy to understand supplied fitting instructions to install this very high quality and simple to install split charge system.

The voltage sense relay simply detects the rise in voltage from you vehicles charging system when it exceeds 13.3v to allow you to charge your leisure battery(s) while your engine is running. When your engine is switched off and the battery voltage drops below 12.65v the relay will isolate your leisure battery(s) from your main starter battery so it does not drain your main starter battery and you will always be able to start your vehicle.

All of the range of 140amp voltage sensitive relays are dual sensing meaning that if a charging voltage like through a mains charger or solar panel is applied to the leisure battery that exceeds the relay activation voltage of 13.3v it will activate the relay to allow this charging device to also maintain the starter battery.

Voltage sense systems are very simple to install as they do not need an ignition feed or any additional wiring into your vehicle but for modern  vehicles with Euro 5 & 6 engines with smart alternators you will need to use a battery to battery DC-DC charger.

Delivery Information

All orders will be packed and dispatched within 1 working day from receiving your order and payment but can take longer at busy times.

Orders over £100 will be sent FREE using Royal Mails 48hr Tracked service (2-3 working days)

Orders over £200 will be sent FREE using DPD next working day service although orders placed after 10am might be sent the next working day at busy times

Orders under £100 will NOT include free shipping

Royal Mails 48hr Tracked service at £4.50 per order. (2-3 working days)

Royal Mail 24 Tracked service is charged at £6.50 per order.

DPD next working day service is charged at £9.95

All orders needing our next working day service with DPD will need to be ordered before 10am for us to book, process and pack this service with DPD

Any orders placed after 10am might be sent the next working day if we cannot get them booked and packed in time but if urgent please contact us as we will always try our best to help.
